"I just got my scale and it will not turn on. What can I do?
Check to make sure that all of the batteries are inserted and the polarities (+ and - ) are facing the correct way in the battery compartment. If you have access to an additional set of batteries try them in the scale. If this does not solve the problem please call or email EatSmart for support."

Cheers for this as I never knew there was anything like digital scales as we have a ridiculously almost victorian set of weighing scales in our bathroom and these would be ideal to actually see how much I weigh, because I have put on a few pounds after writing and being online for over 6 years now!
But knowing me I might decide to weigh other stuff like the cat and my daughters hamster...I'm crazy like that! lol!
