Fragrance Gifts: Buying the Perfect Perfume Present for the Women in Your Life

It doesn't matter why you are looking for a gift, it could be Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mothers' Day or a Birthday, or it might be to say sorry, thank you or well done, the one thing of which you can be certain is that perfume will make the perfect gift on any occasion for any of the women in your life from age from 5 to 105.

So how do I know this. Well for one thing I'm a woman but if you need more convincing here are the statistics to back up what I'm saying. Perfume is $10 billion industry and most women of today have a collection of at least six different perfumes rather than a single signature perfume

And if you still need extra evidence here's the history. We humans have used perfume in various forms for thousands of years and products that make the skin feel good and the body smell beautiful have been highly prized in every culture.

So why is perfume the perfect gift for the younger women in your life. The answer is quite simply because they want to be like their mom. Every little girl wants to pretend to be a grown up and this is why they love dressing up in their mom's clothes and makeup. Rather than have your daughter use the expensive sexy perfume that you buy for your wife why not buy her a lighter, cheaper (and more appropriate) perfume in a bottle that she will love.

In the capsule to the side I've highlighted six different Disney perfumes. The bottles are attractive and look great displayed on the dressing table. You can pick a character which your daughter loves such as Belle from Beauty and the Beast and team the perfume present with other items from the Disney range. The fragrances are fruity and light such as Enchanting Peach, Gorgeous Grape or Sweet Honey Dew Melon.

Disney also do some great ranges of perfumes for the pre-teen woman in your life. She would die from embarassment if her friends found out that she been given Cinderella perfume as a present but on the other hand perfumes from Hannah Montana and High School Musical are to die for and would make her the envy of her friends.

The fragrances in this part of the market are slightly more complex but still light. For example the Hannah Montana perfume is a blend of Peach, Orange, Champagne, Passion Fruit, Grenadine, Honeysuckle, Blonde Woods, Violet, Vetiver, Dewberry, Tonka Bean and Jasmine.

Just like the perfumes for the younger girls these perfumes can be matched with other items from the Disney Range.

In this age range there is a huge variety of choice. I've chosen six perfumes to highlight from Roxy, Britney Spears and Diesel to give you an indication of the selection which is out there.

Lovely : Sarah Jessica Parker - This fragrance is ultra-feminine and tastefully hip blending a scent of pure innocence with the exotic. The scent is feminine, timeless and ageless with an Orchid heart note, Apple Martini top note and a White Amber base note.

Provocative : Elizabeth Arden - A scent with an intense fusion of tantalising Oriental ingredients that combine with a sexy magnetic floralcy. It uses Chilled Quince, Water Lotus & Ginger Lily .together with Midnight Orchid, Papaya Blossom & Pink Freesia.

This part of the perfume market is more traditional and the older woman in your life might be fairly fixed in her opinions of the perfumes she will or won't wear.
